“Triquetra: The Dance of Worlds” is my first poetry collection. I’ve been writing freeverse since the early ’90s for no other reason than pure expression. It’s not my intent to be a professional artist – or even a proficient poet. These images in words, this sharing of experience are ideas dropped in my lap by some source. Call it the muses, call it the cosmos, I called it life. I don’t know why or how these thoughts ended up with me. All I know is that I had to write them, and in so writing them, to share them. I couldn’t NOT. To honor the mystery of creativity, I offer the best of two decades work here.
The poems are arranged in three sections. The first section, “The Outer World” contains poems inspired by images and experiences of Nature.
The second section, “The Inner World”, expresses spiritual and personal growth, exploration and discovery.
The third section “The Dance of World” looks at relationships with loved ones of all sorts: family, spouse, child, family, friends living and friends not-so-living.
Love and relationship is that magical place where two worlds touch and begin to dance.
